Watermain Replacement and Improvement
Notice of road paving. Kenpark Avenue. Projects 21-1340 B
The Region of Peel and City of Brampton will be resurfacing Kenpark Avenue. This includes:
- Removal of a portion of the road asphalt surface
- Re-aligning of Sewer Access Covers
- Repaving the road surface
Schedule
We expect the paving activities to take place on Kenpark Avenue between Tuesday, September 20, 2022 and Tuesday, October 4, 2022 weather permitting. Regular working hours will be between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Driveway access
Driveway access may be interrupted, this inconvenience will be kept to a minimum. If you are unable to enter your driveway due to construction, please park your vehicle on an adjacent side street or elsewhere in order to accommodate construction activities.
Parking
Please do not park on Kenpark Avenue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. when paving is scheduled for your street. Please ensure the road is cleared of vehicles (and any type of materials) at these times. To provide an alternate parking location, we have arranged for a street parking enforcement exemption from the City of Brampton on adjacent streets. This exemption is valid until October 7, 2022. Please note that all other parking laws remain in place, including proper clearance from hydrants and stop signs.
Safety during construction
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible.
