Watermain replacement and improvements
Murray Street at Williams Parkway. Projects 20-1340 D & 17-1340 B
The Region of Peel has been working in your area to replace the watermain along Williams Parkway. This work is required to maintain and improve the quality of existing water services.
At this stage in the project, a temporary road closure will be required to complete this work.
Traffic impacts
- Murray Street will be closed at Williams Parkway to all incoming/outgoing traffic. This temporary road closure is expected to occur from the week of October 30, 2023 and last approximately 3 weeks.
- Through traffic on Williams Parkway will not be impacted by the road closure.
- A detour route will be clearly marked with road signs. Residents north of Williams Parkway should use Gillingham Drive for ingress/egress while residents south of Williams Parkway should use Archibald Street.
- Residents who live on Murray Street will have access to their homes.
