Watermain improvements
Intersection of Remembrance Road and Robert Parkinson Drive – Project 20-1177
Peel Region will be working in your neighborhood to upgrade watermain components at the intersection of Remembrance Road and Robert Parkinson Drive. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water infrastructure.
The Region’s contractor will be remobilizing to complete the works at the intersection including restoration of the road.
Construction schedule
Construction is planned to restart and be completed on September 30th. These timelines are estimates, as weather and other unexpected events may impact our timelines.
Contractor and working hours
The work will be completed by the Clearway Group under contract to Peel Region. The City of Brampton, under the Noise Bylaw, is allowing work to take place on Saturday to reduce eliminate any impacts to the public given the proximity to the nearby school. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this work.
Traffic impacts
The intersection of Remembrance Drive and Robert Parkinson Drive will remain open but with lane restrictions at the working area. On-street parking will be reduced during construction where we are actively working on your street.

Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe – pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible.
