Watermain construction and sanitary sewer rehabilitation

Intersection of Remembrance Road and Robert Parkinson Drive. Project 20-1177

Peel Region will be working in your neighborhood to upgrade watermain components at the intersection of Remembrance Road and Robert Parkinson Drive. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water infrastructure.

A temporary closure of the intersection of Remembrance Road and Robert Parkinson Drive will be required to complete this work.

Traffic impacts

The intersection of Remembrance Road and Robert Parkinson Drive will be closed to all through traffic This temporary road closure is expected to occur from August 28th, 2023, until September 15th, 2023. A detour route will be clearly marked with road signs. Please see the attached map for the detour route

Please note that transit buses will also be impacted, please check bramptontransit.com for detour routing and additional information regarding bus stop impacts during the closure.

Emergency service vehicles and school buses will be permitted to cross through the closure with guidance from the onsite contractor.We apologize for any delays or inconvenience resulting from these traffic impacts.
