Fletchers creek - Sanitary sewer and maintenance hole rehabilitation
The Region of Peel will be inspecting the condition of an existing sanitary trunk sewer, in the neighbourhood of Fletcher’s Creek, to assess its current condition and determine if portions of the sewer need to be rehabilitated.

Stage 1: Investigation/Condition Assessment (July 2019 August 2019)
Stage 2: Engineering design and tendering (September 2019 February 2020)
Stage 3: Construction (May 2020 August 2021)
Expected impacts on community:
- Intermittent minimal traffic disruptions due to partial lane closures (Stages 1 & 3)
- Closures or blocked off sections of Fletchers Creek Trail (Stage 3)
- Potential odour within close range of open maintenance holes (Stage 3)
- Slightly higher-than-normal levels of ambient noise due to truck and equipment operation (Stage 1 & 3)

Stage 1 objective:
To conduct sewer condition assessment as the preliminary phase to gain an understanding of the extent of the repairs that are required and to design solutions accordingly.
