Family Day Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel

BRAMPTON, ON. (Feb. 11, 2019)Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Family Day on Monday, Feb. 18 and will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Residents in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, Feb. 18 due to Family Day. During the week of Feb. 18, all recycling, garbage and organics collection will be one day later than your regular pick-up day. See your collection schedule - "when does it go” for your collection date.

All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will also be closed on Monday, Feb. 18 and will reopen for regular operating hours on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Service hours will be from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18 for the Family Day holiday.
All specific trips for Monday, Feb. 18 and Tuesday, Feb. 19 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17. No flexible trips will be accommodated after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17 or on Monday, Feb. 18.  The TransHelp Office will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18 with regular office hours resuming on Tuesday, Feb. 19. All subscription trips, except for dialysis trips, will be cancelled for Monday, Feb. 18. Contact TransHelp at 905-791-1015 with any questions.

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) will be open on Monday, Feb. 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with FREE admission this Family Day.  Come explore PAMA, participate in family-friendly activities and events, plus tour fascinating new exhibits.  For more information, visit pama.peelregion.ca or call 905-791-4055
