Community Investment Program funds

We provide grants for not-for-profit agencies to help better deliver human and social services across Peel Region.

Capacity Fund

The fund is now closed.

The Capacity Fund will provide support to organizations, enabling customized approaches to strengthen internal business practices, operational needs, and managing change during the transition phase of Bill 112 to dissolve Peel Region.

Wellness Response and Assistance Program Fund

The fund is now closed.

Funding is available to eligible organizations to deliver mental health and/or addictions programs to support recipients of social assistance programs in Peel.

Social Enterprise Fund

The Social Enterprise Fund is now closed.

Regional Council approved a Social Enterprise Fund pilot to develop innovative approaches to strengthen Peel’s social enterprise sector, and to provide optimal services to the most vulnerable members of our community.

Small Capital Fund

The Small Capital Fund is now closed.

The Small Capital Fund supports core operating and small capital expenses.

This fund improves service delivery over the long-term, by funding items that maintain or improve the facilities used to run programs across Region of Peel communities.

Change Fund

The Change Fund is now closed.

The Change Fund will look to empower communities and not-for-profit partners to be responsive in addressing complex grassroots, community, and system level issues that align to Regional priorities.

Food Security Capital and Innovation Fund

The Food Security Capital and Innovation Fund is closed.

The Food Security Capital and Innovation Fund has been established for not-for-profit agencies allocated specifically to address applications from Peel Region's food banks. Funding will support formal and informal food banks and will assist with their unbudgeted operational costs and capital requirements.

Core Fund

The Core Fund is now closed

The Core Fund support agencies to improve their program and service delivery by funding their core operational needs.

Community Hub Development Fund

Supports community agencies to conduct feasibility studies and develop strong community hub business plans, aligned to Peel's Community Hub Development Standards. Visit the Community Hub Development Fund page for full details.

Agricultural Fund

Continues current agricultural funding commitments that focus on increased awareness and education of Peel's agricultural community.

Revolving Capital Loan

This interest-free loan supports community partner integration and system improvements with large capital projects through a repayable line of credit.

The Revolving Capital Loan Fund is closed until further notice.

Once a year you will need to update your Service Provider Profile (SPP) with all supporting documents in the Community Investment’s new fund management system GovGrants.
