Community Investment Program Funds

We provide grants for not-for-profit agencies to help build the capacity of the sector to better deliver human and social services across the Region.

Apply now for the Organizational Effectiveness Fund and the Collaboration Fund. The funds close October 21, 2019.

Annual organizational profile

Once a year you will need to complete an organization profile with all supporting documents. Complete an organization profile (PDF).

Program funds

Core Fund - new

This has replaced the Sustainability Fund but continues to enable agencies to develop, maintain, and improve their service and program delivery, by funding their core operational needs.

The Core Fund provides a greater focus on alignment to Regional priorities and increased clarity on eligible core expenses, including funding calculations and thresholds.

The Core Fund is now closed.

Capacity Fund - new

Gives greater focus on the outcome of capacity building rather than the process of capacity building. Attend an upcoming community information session to learn more. Sign-up for a session

Change Fund - new

Supports established agency groups to work together to address Regional priorities and complex system level issues. Attend an upcoming community information session to learn more. Sign-up for a session

Organizational Effectiveness Fund

Helps agencies strengthen their internal business practices. Funding is designed to address specific internal capacity issues.

Collaboration Fund

Assists with planning and implementation of new initiatives that are meeting a defined need within the community.

Sustainability Fund

Increases organizational sustainability and builds capacity in the community.

Small Capital Fund

Assists with core operating and small capital expenses. The goal is to improve service delivery over the long-term. Organizations will be more effective and will achieve greater community impact.

Community Hub Development Fund

Supports community agencies to conduct feasibility studies and develop strong community hub business plans, aligned to Peel's Community Hub Development Standards. Visit the Community Hub Development Fund page for full details.

Other funds

Agricultural Fund

Continues current agricultural funding commitments that focus on increased awareness and education of Peel's agricultural community.

Revolving Capital Loan

This interest-free loan supports community partner integration and system improvements with large capital projects through a repayable line of credit.
